BioMara is a multi-disciplinary project that includes scientific research, the economic and social implications of applying that research, and a strategy of engagement with the wider community to ensure relevance and application of the project's outputs.
The Research Plan
The BioMara research falls into four major themes:

- Microalgae strains and yields
- Marine biomass (seaweed) as fuel
- Downstream processing
