BioMara will host a public meeting in Stornoway on the afternoon of the 3rd September 2010. The meeting will open with a general overview of the project, looking at its background and potential outcomes. This will be followed by presentations on the biofuel potential of both seaweeds and microalgae. The meeting will be opened to the floor for a general question and answer session on how this type of technology might be used to generate energy in the Western Isles.
